Mr Gbemi Deru

Trustee

Gbemi Deru, is a retailer and entrepreneur with vast experience in UK, Ireland and Nigeria. He is currently the store manager of one of UK’s mega stores in London. Prior to his career as a retailer, Mr. Deru worked as an audit trainee with KPMG-Ani, Ogunde & Co in Lagos-Nigeria.

He has a HND degree in Accountancy and Finance from Yaba College of Technology. He also has a diploma in IT & Computerised Accounting from Fas Ireland and a diploma in Business and Retail Management from Dublin Business School. Mr. Deru has also attended various management programmes and trainings till date.

Gbemi worked in different management capacities in Twilight, Dunnes, Superquinn, Ballinteer, lucan, naas, Sutton and finglas. He is also the founder of Lovable Konnections Enterprise, a printing and graphics firm.

He served as the Chairman – board of Trustee of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG Regional HQ Dublin) between 2005 and 2012. Gbemi is married to Sade Randy Deru and blessed with two children.
